Upon completing each course’s requirements,

you will receive a certificate of completion for that course.

How do I apply to take a course at HMI Learning center?

You have multiple options to apply:

  • Apply online on our website
  • Apply by visiting us at the HMI Center in Karon.
  • Or by contacting us via LINE, FB Messenger, WhatsApp, or Telephone.

Our office hours are from 09.00 – 17.00 hrs.: Monday – Friday.

When should I apply?

You can view the timetable for each course on our website to determine the best time to apply.

If my dates don’t match?

No worries! Feel free to call or email us for more information or talk to our admin on any channel (Line, WhatsApp, and Facebook) for further details.

How can I apply for a visa?

To apply for a visa, you should contact the nearest Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in your home country. You will need to apply for a nonimmigrant “ED” visa before leaving your country. The initial visa will be valid for 90 days only. After arriving in Thailand and successfully registering for courses, you will be eligible to extend your visa. Within thirty days prior to its expiration date, you should be able to have the visa extended for a one-year period and converted to a student visa.

Are there any accommodations nearby HMI?

There are several options near HMI that you can choose to stay in, such as guesthouses, hotels, condominiums, etc. The school can guide you based on your affordability. You can also check rates at our partner resort Karon Sea Sands Resort

How can I get around Phuket?

Local bus between Kata Beach and Phuket Town (daily)

  • Depart from Kata Beach, the first trip is at 6:00 AM, the last trip is at 3:00 PM.
  • Depart from Phuket Town, the first trip is at 8:00 AM, the last trip is at 5:00 PM.
  • The fare is 40 baht throughout the line, and the service is available every hour.

Phuket Smart Bus, a bus between Phuket Airport – Karon (daily)

  • Service starts from 07:15 – 22:15.

How much is the cost of living in Phuket?

We estimate that for a person living alone, a budget of 1,500 – 2,000 THB per day would be sufficient to cover accommodation and meals in Phuket. However, please note that this is only a minimum estimation of expenses and it depends on your lifestyle.

Are there any onsite practices for some courses?

We offer courses that provide handson practice in places related to your learning course, such as Front Office Service, Food and Beverage Service, and Housekeeping Service. Additionally, you will receive a traineeship allowance.
